Haralson Sheriff Foundation Community Scholarship
Sheriff Stacy Williams and the Haralson Sheriff Foundation are proud to announce our Scholarship winners for 2026. We would like to congratulate these two young ladies for their great applications and essays that were voted on by members of the Haralson County Sheriff's Office Command Staff.
Our winner from Bremen High School is Olivia McBride. Olivia is the daughter of Christy and Kip McBride, and she is headed to Jacksonville State University to study Forensic Science.
Our winner from Haralson County High School is Christa Washington. Christa is the daughter of Chris and Katie Washington, and she is going to continue her education at West Georgia Technical College where she is already almost halfway through obtaining her Fire Science Technology Degree.
We thank everyone that applied for our scholarships this year, and we again congratulate our two winners. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!
Haralson Sheriff Foundation Community Scholarship
The purpose of the Haralson Sheriff Foundation Community Scholarship is to provide funding for Haralson County student-residents (Bremen High School & Haralson County High School) in their pursuit of furthering their education in the prospective field of Criminal Justice. This field of study includes but is not limited to the following areas:
Law Enforcement
Corrections
Forensic Science
Business Administration
Two students will be chosen from the two high schools (one from each school) in our county for this scholarship and each scholarship will be in the amount of $3000.00.
